Elizabeth Coop
Certified Instructor
Pilates Sports Center Elizabeth is a native of Fort Worth and graduated from TCU with a BS in Psychology and Health. Elizabeth’s years of ballet developed in her a strong appreciation for alignment and how the body moves. Her love of movement naturally progressed into a passion for training the body to function optimally. Years of high impact exercise and heavy lifting eventually caught up with Elizabeth and she began looking for a lower impact option that could provide the same benefit. Joseph Pilates Method of Contrology was a game changer for her fitness goals. She learned proper breathing techniques, spinal alignment and core strength which kept her stronger than ever without the strain on her joints high impact exercise triggered. She was especially impressed with how Pilates helped her to thrive through the smoothest pregnancy ever. Elizabeth was officially a lover of Pilates. Extroverted by nature, Elizabeth wanted to share her love for movement, fitness and mental health so she completed her Comprehensive Teacher Training Program through Pilates Sports Center. Elizabeth believes mindfulness movement is the key to maximizing results. Elizabeth’s hope is that every client will be empowered with knowledge about their body. That they leave each session having learned something about mindful movement; and can take that information for use in every day life. Her passion is helping her clients shift their attitudes about exercise from something you have to do to something that you get to do. Treat every day as a gift and honor your body with movement! |
