School for Classical and Contemporary Dance Cami is a bilingual, Mexico native and moved to Houston when she was 7 years old. She is attending Texas Christian University, earning her BFA in Modern Dance. Cami began dancing when she was 6 years old at Bonis Dance Studio where she was a part of their competition team, as well as a member of the Woodlands Dance company earning a spot in The Nutcracker. She is also part of TCU's application-only Pilates Teacher Training Program and Dance Honor Society Chi Tau Epsilon. Cami's dance background has given her a special love for movement and the well being of the human body. Dance has helped her discover a special love and appreciation for Pilates. She is passionate about sharing pilates with everyone, and believes that pilates can benefit anyone and everyone . Cami believes it’s a form of exercise that helps balance out the body and creates a mind-body connection that no other form of exercise does. She is super excited to bring that and more into her teaching at The Pilates Center! |
